Oman – Energy Efficiency Labeling

Demonstrate compliance with Oman’s energy efficiency labeling scheme with the Omani Energy Efficiency Registration (EER) label.

The Omani EER label provides consumers with detailed information about the energy efficiency of the model of a product they purchase or use. It is required for applicable models that are exported to Oman. The EER label is affixed to the regulated product and/or its packaging to indicate the product complies with the performance requirements set out by the Omani Directorate General for Standardization and Metrology (DGSM).

Energy Efficiency Registration for Air Conditioners in Oman

As an extension of the Gulf Conformity Mark (G-Mark) program, effective July 25, 2019, air conditioners sold in Oman must carry EER labels. Manufacturers of air conditioners have been able to register their products for energy efficiency since May 2019.
